Abstract

Ageratum conyzoides Linn (Asteraceae) is an annual herbaceous, tropical plant with numerous ethno-medicinal uses, pharmacological applications and biological activities.  This study was done to assess the gastroprotective activity of aqueous and methanolic leaf extracts of A. conyzoides L. in rats using pyloric-ligation method.   Phytochemical analysis of extracts was done using Gas Chromatography
