According to Claisen-Schmidt condensation a series of novel substituted Indolyl chalcone derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activity against three different bacterial strain such as Moraxella, Enterobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and three fungal strain against Candida albicans, A.niger and Trichophyton. The synthesized compounds have been characterised by TLC, elemental analysis, IR and 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopy.Downloads
