Review: Applications of chromatography in forensic sciences

This article reviews the use of different Chromatography techniques in the forensic science, Chromatographic technique is very sensitive and selective. Different types of chromatography techniques used were Liquid chromatography -mass spectrometry, Gas chromatographymass spectrometry, Thin layer chromatography, HPTLC in investigating criminal cases of which chemical warfares, terrorist attacks, smugglers, drug abuse, alcoholics. This techniques are promising to detect even pictogram or very less, with selectivity and sensitivity.Downloads
