Synthesis of derivatives of 4-hydroxy isoleucine from fenugreek and evaluation of their anti diabetic activity

The new method was prepared for the extraction of 4-hydroxy isoleucine from fenugreek seeds. Similarly semi-synthetic derivatives were prepared with acceptable degree of purity and confirmed by spectral analysis. The anti-diabetic activity of semi synthetic derivatives was compared with the parent 4-hydroxy isoleucine and they showed increased activity than the parent compound.Downloads
