Liposomes are spherical vesicles composed of cholesterol or phospholipids and resemble the cell wall. They are used as a nano-drug delivery vehicle for drug administration. Extract loaded liposomes of Oxalis corniculata Linn. (ELL) were studied for microscopic features, evaluated, and characterized. The in-vitro drug release profile showed an initial burst (< 10% in 1 hour) followed by consistent release (> 90 % in 24 hours).
