Amenorrhoea poses a diagnostic challenge to most of the gynecologists. Amenorrhoea has various causes and investigation is sometimes complex and time consuming. Evaluation of amenorrhoea should be logical and systematic. Evaluation and management sometimes need a multidisciplinary approach including neurosurgeon, physician, endocrinologist and psychiatrist. While dealing with a case of amenorrhea it should be remembered that most of these cases are due to physiological causes like pregnancy , lactation or menopause.
