The present investigation was carried out to analyze the active constituents present in the gum exudates of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. M eliaceae. Twelve compounds were identified by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. The predominant compounds were fatty acids like Hexadecanoic acid, oleic acid ethyl ester, stearic acid ethyl ester, linoleic acid ethyl ester, methyl ricinoleate and ricinoleic acid.Downloads
